8th Vermont Infantry Regiment

A monument to the 8th Vermont Infantry Regiment is in Winchester National Cemetery in Winchester, Virginia. (39° 11.008′ N, 78° 9.382′ W; see map)

 

The Cemetery entrance is on the south side of National Avenue (Business Virginia Route 7) two blocks west of Pleasant Valley Road.

The 8th Vermont Infantry Regiment is also honored by a monument on the Cedar Creek battlefield outside of Middletown, Virginia.
